It's a wrap: Coachella 2024 ends with Weekend 2 shenanigans

The highs were high and we're not just talking about the heat during weekend 2 of Coachella 2024.

Just like the valley, Coachella had its ups and downs especially during the opening weekend where things got a little too funky, technically - fashion and otherwise.

Oh, you haven't heard (yet)? No worries, we've got you covered, this the scoop on Coachella - weekend 1.

As per tradition, it's not Coachella if it's not surprise guest performances à gogo.

It's like the time you mix something savory with something sweet and get experimental about your food - these duets offered the desert festival goers quite the different, unique music palates that made weekend 2 an even better-spent time than the previous week.

Lana Del Rey & Camila Cabello

Lana Del Rey and Camila Cabello joined forces during Lana's headlining performance on Friday - first night of weekend 2 - singing Cabello's latest single "I Luv".

Cabello, in response to Del Rey's show and speech of love towards her guest artist, says: “This is an honor for me, you’re one of my favorite artists of all time. I love you so much."

Peso Pluma & Anitta

Peso Pluma returned with a lineup of special guests for his Coachella weekend 2 set on April 19, including Anitta who made her Coachella debut in 2022. She came out for an energetic performance of “Bellakeo” bringing the crowd to cheers.

Sabrina Carpenter and Norah Jones

Sabrina Carpenter surprised weekend 2 festival-goers with this; a shake up from her solo set weekend 1, she was joined by award-winning artist Norah Jones to duet “Don’t Know Why” at sunset on April 19.

"I Coachella’d!" later posted Norah Jones on her Instagram with this photo. Now, that's a memory to keep!

Faye Webster & Lil Yachty

It was a BFF sweet childhood moment for Faye Webster as she welcomed her lifelong pal Lil Yachty on stage during her Friday set on April 19.

While singing “Lego Ring” together, the duo displayed music powerhouse energy as the rapper wrapped his arm around her during their performance.

Tyler, the Creator & Earl Sweatshirt

Tyler, the Creator brought out only one - but very special guest, rapper Earl Sweatshirt during his headlining set on April 20.

Let's check out in this review how special it actually was - this 'chella collaboration is indeed massive!

J Balvin & Maria Becerra

The global superstar J Balvin wrapped his back-to-back weekend set under the stars with the Argentine urban-pop sensation Maria Becerra by inviting her on stage with him to sing “¿Que Más Pues?"

This is how the latest Coachella stage addition "Quasar" looked like. An impressive line-up prevailed.

Let's refresh your memory with these smashing names taking over the out-of-this-world "Quasar" stage.

Gwen Stefani - despite the outfit issues - shined even better during weekend 2 of Coachella'24 sans guests.

Gwen was unstoppable on stage delivering a stellar performance with No Doubt until she faces some skirt mishaps that led to multiple staffers coming on stage to help her with it.

In fact, with no guests during her weekend 2 performance, as opposed to weekend 1 when she hosted Olivia Rodrigo, Gwen proved to the crowd that she can carry out a full-on killer performance that made the crowd appreciate her greatness even more.

Stefani joked about the little fashion slip saying she likes when such things happen. “I get way more press.”

Weekend 2 keeps on showcasing hard and strong how musically rich of an experience it's been for Coachella's crowd with installations, stages and artists to keep the caliber high despite the low obstructions. Nothing is void of a technicality after all!

"Dancing in the Sky" by Morag Myuerscough is seen at night during the festival.

A laser lightshow during J. Balvin's set is seen outside from inside of "Babylon" stage.

Peggy Gou works the crowd in the Sahara Tent at Coachella on April 19.

Tems puts on a dreamy performance in the Mojave tent.

Heineken House brings the party and the dance floor.

The Heineken House has made a name for itself at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and stepped up its game in the 2024 edition bringing its own party with big crowds hitting the dance floor.

Notable rappers and DJs, such as T-Pain, Fat Joe and Bob Sinclar took on the stage.
