The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2019 is finally here! And we’ve brought you a round up of all the events, brunches, after-race gigs and parties taking place on Day 4 (Sunday, December 1). If you’re a little lost about where to go, this should make it much…MUCH easier for you.
The Killers at du Arena
US rock group The Killers will be closing race weekend on Sunday, December 1. Dubbed as ‘one of the biggest rock bands of the 21st century’, the group has achieved global success with tracks such as ‘The Man’ and ‘Just Another Girl’. Now, they’re all set to take over du Arena for fans during one of the most exciting weekends of the capital.
Trey Songz at BASE
American rapper, singer and actor Trey Songz will be taking center stage on Sunday, December 1. Having collaborated with artists such as Nicki Minaj, 50 Cent and Drake in the past, Trey recently released a double album which features big names such as Chris Brown and 2 Chainz. You wouldn’t want to miss this one, that’s fo’ sho’!
Sigma at Amber Lounge
UK dance music sensation Sigma will be spinning the decks at party spot, Amber Lounge on Sunday, December 1. The British drum and bass duo have sold over 3 million singles including tracks such as ‘Nobody To Love’, ‘Changing’ and ‘Coming Home’. From music fests all over the world to underground raves, and now, in the capital, it’ll be a big night for fans.
Claptone at WET Deck
German DJ and producer Claptone will be making his way over to WET Deck on Sunday, December 1. The house and techno genius has performed at top clubs all over the world and now, he’s all set to bring his brand of tunes to the capital. Fans will recognize the quirky DJ by a distinct golden mask that helps keep his identity a secret. Should be a fun night!
Artbat at Iris Yas Island (late-night)
Musical duo Artur and Batish aka Artbat will be bringing their magic to the grounds of Iris Yas Island on Sunday, December 1. The Kiev artists are among some for the most successful electronic acts from Ukraine, and have played at big clubs all over the world. Can’t wait for them to perform in the capital! Just make sure you’re ready to party hard!

Usher at MAD On Yas Island
American singer and songwriter Usher has confirmed a performance at MAD On Yas Island on Sunday, December 1. Known for his sensual ballads from the ‘90s, the singer recently appeared on the song ‘Come Thru’ which contains a sample of his 1997 track ‘You Make Me Wanna’. Fans can look forward to a night of singing and dancing along to all his greatest hits.

DJ Bliss at Diabilito
A series of parties has been lined up at the Abu Dhabi hotspot, Diablito with the hottest homegrown DJs spinning the decks–much to the delight of party-lovers across the country. The final night of ‘The Big Race Weekender’ takes place on Sunday, December 1. It’ll be a Ma Nuit and 411 Nights takeover which will see DJ Bliss and duo Mixed Feelings spin the decks to wrap up race weekend.
